Four Days in Paris -

Day One: was spent getting over 24 hours in transit and a bit of orienteering without my Camera.

Day Two
We decided that the best way to see as much as we could in a short period of time was to actually play 'tourist' - So armed with a 2 day pass and a map we hurtled toward the Arc de Triomphe getting a first hand experience of the infamous Parisian traffic from the top of an open double decker bus!

We stopped for a promised souvenir on the Champs-Elysees
and then on to the Eiffel Tower.
Choosing to be content with just being here to see it in person than join the crowds wishing to ascend it's heights.

We learnt to walk on cobblestones - lots and lots of cobblestones!

and finished the day with a wander around the extensive grounds of The Louvre
marvelling at the architecture and opulence of the buildings exterior

then strolled back to our Hotel across bridges and along the River Seine.

It was a lovely day - so much to see.
So little time.
